6.5Identifying Fatal Fault Codes and Recovering

Fatal fault codes are distinguished by the letter F preceding the code. They normally indicate a malfunction of the microprocessor on the Regulator board. In some cases, fatal fault codes can be reset and the drive can be re-started. Table 6.4 lists the fatal fault codes which can be reset. If any other fault code appears on the display, you will need to replace the Regulator board.

If the fault code FUE appears in error log entry 0, it indicates a fatal fault occurred as power was lost. Contact Reliance Electric or observe the drive for subsequent fatal errors before turning off power. Fatal fault codes are lost after power loss.
