VIEWING IMAGES ON A COMPUTER

IMPORTANT!

•If you want to transfer files from the camera’s built-in memory to a computer, make sure there is no memory card loaded in the camera before you place it onto the USB cradle.

1.What you should do first depends on whether your Macintosh is running under Mac OS 8.6 or Mac OS 9/OS X.

■Mac OS 8.6 Users

•Start from step 2 to install the USB driver.

•Note that the example installation presented here uses Mac OS 8.6.

■Mac OS 9/OS X Users

•Installation of the USB driver is not required, so jump directly to step 9.

•The following steps show installation under the English OS.

2.Set the bundled CD-ROM into the Macintosh CD-ROM drive.

3.Double-click the hard disk that is specified as your startup disk.
