Connecting a Modem to the GSS 4490 Console Port

This appendix explains how to configure a dial-up modem and connect it to the console port on the Cisco Global Site Selector 4490. Connecting a modem to the GSS 4490 allows you to remotely perform the same GSS console operations as you would locally. The GSS supports the following modems:
