Power Supply Modules

About the Power Supply Modules

The Topspin 270/Cisco SFS 7008 power supply units are hot-swappable. Only one power module is necessary to power the unit. However, two power supplies are recommended for redundancy.

You can add a second module without powering off the chassis. If you have two power supply units installed, you can remove one of them without removing power from the chassis.
