Complex Transparent Bridging Network Topology Example

Figure 21 shows a network topology made up of four bridged subnetworks. Each bridged subnetwork is

defined by the scope of a spanning tree. However, the scope of each spanning tree is not shown in detail

because it is unnecessary for purposes of this discussion. Instead, it is shown by a half cloud labeled

“To other parts of BSN.”
