To remove the router from the shipping pallet and move it to the rack, follow these
steps:
Step 1 Remove the two hold-down brackets attached to the front of the scissor-jack
platform.
a. Remove the bolts that fasten the two front hold-down brackets to the top of
the shipping pallet (Figure 6).

Caution The blocking plate is a safety feature to prevent you from removing the lateral
bolts from the sides of the scissor-jack platform. Do not do inhibit the intent of
the blocking plate.
