Install slot dividers into HWIC slots on Cisco 2811, Cisco 2821, and Cisco 2851 routers as follows:
Step1 Guide the two halves of the slot divider between the two rails in the bottom of the HWIC slot. See
Figure 4.

Step2 Push the slot divider in until it seats and locks into place. When the slot divider is fully seated, its outer
end is flush with the front panel of the router. See Figure5.
Step3 Gently pull the slot divider to check for complete seating. If properly seated, it does not come out.
