Installing a DRAM DIMM in a Cisco 2801 Router
To install a DRAM DIMM in a Cisco 2801 router, follow these steps:
Step 1 Locate the DIMM socket on the motherboard.
Step 2 Remove any existing DIMM by gently pulling the spring-loaded clips on the end of the socket far enough
to clear the DIMM, and gently pulling the DIMM up and away from the socket. See Figure14.

Step3 Insert the DIMM into the DIMM socket, as shown in Figure 15.
