Overview of the Router
The Cisco 2010 Connected Grid Router is the first router in the Cisco 2000 Series Connected Grid solutions. The CGR 2010 router is a ruggedized power utility substation router, which offers data functionality through Gigabit Ethernet ports, and security functionality with a VPN accelerator.
Ruggedized routers comply with specifications IEEE 1613 and IEC 61850, for products that meet stringent environmental, surge, and electromagnetic Interference (EMI) requirements for utility substation environments without moving parts or fans.
