Installing Memory

Only the DIMMs listed inTable 6 should be used. Memory must be installed in the order shown in
Table 8 into the slots located in Figure13. To install a DIMM into a slot in the B230 blade server, follow
these steps:
Step1 Open both DIMM connector latches. (See Figure 12, callout 1.)

Step2 Press the DIMM into its slot evenly on both ends until it clicks into place. (See Figure12, callout 2.)
Step3 Press the DIMM connector latches inward slightly to seat them fully. (See Figure 12, callout 3.)
