IMPORTANT SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS
In addition to the ca reful attention devoted to quality standards in the manufacture o f your video
product, safety is a m ajor factor in the de sign of ever y instrument. However, safety is your re-
sponsibility, too. This sheet lists important infor mation that will help to assure your enjoyment and
proper use of the video produc t and accessory equipment. Please read them carefully before
operation and use of your video product.
Read these instructions carefully. Keep these i nstructions for future referenc e.
Heed all warnings and follow all instruct ions.
Do not expose to water or moisture.
Clean only with a dry cloth.
This device should be operated only from the t ype of power source indicated on the ra ting
label. If you are not sure of the type of power supply to your ho me, consult your video
dealer or local power company. For devices intended to op erate from battery power or other
sources, refer to the operating instruct ions.
Do not overload wall outlets or extension cor ds as this can result in a risk of re or elect ric
shock. Overloaded AC outlets, extension c ords, frayed power cords, damaged or cr acked
wire insulation, and broken plugs are dangerous. T hey may result in a shock or re hazard.
Examine the cord periodically, and if its app earance indicates damage or deterio rated
insulation, have it replaced by a service tec hnician.
Do not force the power plug into a wall outlet. If the pl ug provided does not t into your
outlet, consult an electrician for rep lacement of the obsolete outlet. (A polar ized plug has
two blades where one is wider than the other; t he wide blade is provided for your safety.)
Do not place heavy objects on the power co rd. Protect the cord from being walked on,
pinched by objects, or torn and exposed to liquid s (especially at plugs, convenience
receptacles, and the point at which they exit fr om the device).
Do not use this device near water. Do not place objects l led with liquids (eg, vases) on the
device. Never spill liquid of any kind on the device.
Do not drop or otherwise subject the devic e to impact. Keep objects away from ventilat ion
openings. Do not block ventilation openings at a ny time.
Never push objects of any kind into this device throug h openings as they may touch danger-
ous voltage points or short out part s that could result in a re or electric s hock.
Do not install near any apparatus that produces heat such as stoves, radiators, ampliers, etc.
Use only with attachments/access ories specied by the manufacture r. Use of attachments/
accessories not recommended by the p roduct manufacturer may be hazardo us.
Do not place this device on an unstable car t, stand, tripod,
bracket, or table. The device may fall, causing ser ious injury
to a child or adult as well as serious damage to the devic e.
Use this device only with a cart, stand, t ripod, bracket, or table
recommended by the manufacturer or sold wi th the device.
Any mounting of the product should follow the ma nufacturer’s
instructions and use of a mounting acces sory recommended by
the manufacturer.
A device and cart combination should b e moved with care.
Quick stops, excessive force, and uneven surfac es may cause
the device and cart combination to over turn.
