6. Loosen the three thumbscrews on the front of the unit which sec ure the
server cover.
7. Slide the server cover toward the rear of the unit a bout 1 inch (2.5 cm),
then remove the cover.

Installing a Processor and ProcessorPower Module
To install a processor on the System Board, refer to the label inside the server
cover, refer to the processor option kit, or follow t he procedures below. This
procedure can be used to install a processor and Processor Power M odule in
either socket 1 or 2. The figure below illustrates the processor sockets and the
Processor Power Module slots.
