Starting the Mower1. Press and hold down the start button (Figur e 16).
2. Squeeze and hold the control levers (Figur e 17).
3. Release the start b utton (Figure 1 8). T he motor starts
(it may take several seconds).
Continue to hold the control levers against the handlebar
for as long as you want the motor to run.
If the mower does not start, f irst check for some simple
solutions:
■Make sure the battery is in, the safety key is in, and the
indicator light is green.
■Make sure the Mower/Auxiliary switch is set to Mower.
■Did you follow the cor rect sequence: push the button and hold it do wn,then squee ze the
control levers?
Note: If the mower does not start, f ollow the steps in “Cha pter 8:T roubleshooting Tips.”
WARNING! The control levers are a safety device. Do not tamper with them.
