Movie files that do not play properly o n the product may
need to be converted by COWON MediaC enter - JetAudio.
+ FM Radio does not work.
The product’s earphones work as th e FM Radio antenna.
Straightening the earphone ca ble will result in b etter radio
reception. FM Radio reception may b e poor at locations
where FM Radio transmissions ar e shielded. If FM Rad io
does not work where reception sho uld be possible, pl ease
contact our service center.
+ There is too much noise in my recor dings.
The product uses ultra-small in ternal micropho ne, so it
may be more susceptible to noise duri ng recordings. T he
microphone should not be covered w ith anything du ring
recording.
+ Characters on the display are c orrupted.
Set your preferred language aga in in Settings > Dis play >
Language. If the problem persi sts, set the current fo nt to
the system font. COWON products are deve loped based
on the Korean Windows OS, and this may ca use corruption
of some special fonts or language s on the display.
+ Computer cannot recognize the player when conne cted.
Try the RESET button in the back. If you expe rience a freque nt
disconnection or unstable connectivity, connect the player
directly to the USB port of the PC, rather t han a separate USB
hub. As COWON products use the USB conne ction for the main
power system, unstable power suppl y can cause a conne ction
failure.
+ Memory capacity of the player is different or s maller
than specified.
The memory capacity indic ated by Windows may be di fferent
from that indicated by the memory m anufacturer. The act ual
capacity will be reduced from th e original size be cause some
space of the memory should be use d as the system area for
normal operation.
+ The player does not play properl y when memory is f ull.
For the player to function properly, it re quires at least 5 MB o f
space for saving settings and othe r system files.
