THROTTLE/CHOKE CONTROL LEVER
iMPORTANT:Whenoperatingthemowerwith the
cuttingdeckengaged,becertainthat thethrottle/
chokecontrolleverisalways inthe fast position.
Thisleveris usedto adjustengine speeds,to apply
theenginechoke,andto stopthe engine.Always
runengineat fast speedsettingfor bestmower
performance.
CHOKE:Usewhenstarting a coldengine
FAST:Useduringmoweroperation.
SLOW:Usewhen idlingengine.
STOP:Stopsthe engine.
Choke Fast Slow/Idle EngineOff
Besureno oneother than theoperatoris standingnearthe lawn
mowerwhilestartingengineoroperatingmower.Neverrunengine
indoorsorin enclosed,poorlyventilatedareas.Engineexhaust
containscarbonmonoxide,anodorlessanddeadlygas.Keep hands,
feet,hairand looseclothingawayfromany movingpartson engine
andlawn mower.
GAS CAP
Removethegascapto addfuel tothefueltank.
Useclean,fresh,regularunleadedgasolinewitha minimumof85
octane.
Turntheengineoff andlet the enginecool atleasttwo minutes
beforeremovingthegascap.
DECK HEIGHT LEVER
Usethisleverto adjust thecuttingheight.To use, move
theleverto theleft, thenplacetheleverin thenotchbest
suitedforyourapplication.
