An optiona( dado throat plate is required for this procedure. See the Accessories section of this manua( and check with your nearest Sears Retail Store. A(I b(ades and dado sets must be rated at least 5,000 RPM.
WARNING: Unplug the saw before working around the blade. Accidental starting could
cause serious injury.
•Take out the throat plate by loosening the screw.
•Remove the riving knife and guard assembly.
•Remove the blade.
•Mount the dado blade according to the instructions provided with it.
•Test the blade nut and blade washer tightness.
•Install optional dado throat plate.
