Para dar servicio al filtro de aire, siga los pasos que se detallan a continuaci6n:

1.Quite la tuerca de mariposa (A) de la tapa del filtro de aire (B) y quite latapa.

2.Quite la tuerca de mariposa (C) del filtro de aire (D) y quite el filtro.

3.Quite el filtro de espuma (E) del filtro de papel.

4.Inspeccione ambos elementos del filtro de aire. SustitOyalos si presentan da_os.

5.Limpie el elemento de papel del filtro de aire golpet@.ndolo contra una superficie dura para eliminar la suciedad. Alternativamente, sople a trav_s del elemento del filtro con aire comprimido (a no m_.sde 30 psi) desde el interior.

IIVlPORTANTE:NUNCAcepille el elemento para eliminar la suciedad, s61oconseguiria incrustarla en las fibras.

6.Limpie el elemento de espuma del filtro de aire en agua templada con jab6n, acl_.reloy s6quelo completamente. Alternativamente, limpielo con un disolvente no inflamable y d6jelo secar. Sumerja el elemento de espuma en aceite de motor limpio y escOrralo para eliminar el exceso de aceite.

IIVIPORTANTE:El motor producir_, humo si la espuma contiene demasiado aceite.

7.Utilice un trapo hOmedopara eliminar la suciedad desde el interior de la base y la tapa del filtro de aire. No deje que la suciedad entre por el conducto de aire que va hasta el carburador.

8.Coloque el elemento de espuma del filtro de aire sobre el elemento de papely vuelva a montar el conjunto del filtro de aire. AsegOresede que la junta situada bajo el filtro de aire est6

bien colocada. Apriete firmemente la tuerca de mariposa del filtro de aire.

9.Instale la tapa del filtro de aire y apriete firmemente su tuerca de mariposa.

Bempiace la bujia

Cheque y ajusta la bujia anualmente o cada 100 horas de operaci6n. Remplace la bujia anualmente o cada 300 horas de operaci6n.

1.Limpie el _rea alrededor de la bujia.

2.Retire y revise la bujia.

3.Cambie la bujia si los electrodos est_n desgastados, o si el aislador est_ roto o partido.

4.Revisela separaci6n del electrodo con un calibrador de alambre y ajuste la separaci6n a 0.028-0.031 pulgadas (0.70- 0.80 mm), si es necesario.

5.Instale la bujia y aprietela firmemente.
