Lockthe SWitChtrigger by placing the direction of
rotation selector in center position, See Figure 2.
Open or clor,e chuck jawsto a pointwhere the
opening issligh_y larger than thebit size youintend
touse, Also, raisethe frontof your drill slightly to
keepthe bitfrom fol_ing out of thechuck jaws.
Insert drill bit into chuck the full length of the jaws
asshown in Figure 6.

TOtighten the chuck jaws on ddll bit;grasp and
holdthe collar of the chuck with one hand, while
rotating the chuck body with your other hand.
Note: Rotate the chuck body io the direction of
the arrow marked LOCK totighten chuck jaws.
Do not use a wrench to tighten or loosen the
chuck jaws.
_k WARNING: Donot insertdrillbit into check jaws
andtighten as shown infigure 7. This could cause
dnllbit to he thrown from ditlLresulting in possible
seriouspersonal injuryor damage tothe chuck.
REMOVING BITS
See Figure 6.
Lockthe switch trigger by placing the direction of
rotation selector in center position. See Figure 2.
Loosen the chuck jaws from dnll bit.
Toloosen: grasp and ho_dthe collarof the chuck
with one hand, while rotating chuck body with y_Jr
other hand, Note: Rotate chuck bodyin the
direction of the arrow marked UNLOCK to loosen
chuck jaws.
DOnot use a wrench totighten orloosen the
chuck jaws.
Remove ddl]bit from chuckjaws.
ADJUSTABLE TORQUE CLUTCH
Your dhll is equipped with anadjustable torque clutch
fordriving different types of screws intodifferent
matehels. The proper setting depends on the type of
matorlal and the size of screw you are using.
TO ADJUST TORQUE
Identify the six torque indicator settings located on
thefront ofyour ddll. See Figure 8.
Rotate eqjusting dngto the desired seffing.
1 For driving small screws.
2 For driving screws intosoft material.
3 For driving screws intosoft and herd
matohels.
4 For ddving screws Inhard wood.
5 For driving large screws.
