The switch thgger can belocked inthe OFF position.
This feature can be used toprevent the possibility of
accidental starting when not in use. Tolock switch
trigger,place the direction of rotation selector in
center position.

REVERSIBLE LOCK CHUCK

This tool has the feature ofbeing reversible. The
direction of rotation is controlled by a selector located
above the switch trigger. With the driftheld in normal
operating position, the direction of rotation selector
shouldbe positioned to the left of the switch for
ddllthg.The ddlling direction is reversed when the
selector isto the right ofthe switch. When the selector
isin center position, the switchtrigger is locked.
To stop, release switch trigger and allow the chuck to
come to acomplete stop.
KEYLESS CHUCK

Yournew drift has akeyless chuck. Asthe name implies,
youcan handtighten or releasedrill bits in the chuck
jaws.Grasp and hold the collar ofthe chuckwith one
hand. Rotate thechuck body with your other hand. The
arrowson the chuck indicate which direction to rotate
the chuck body in order to LOCK (tighten) or UNLOCK
CHUCKBODY
