Enables/disables retry after the configurable ACK NAK Timeout Value (set in the following fea- ture) has expired.

This item specifies the time the scanner will wait for an ACK character from the host following a label transmission.

000 = Infinite timeout

001 - 075 = Timeout in 200-millisecond increments

To configure this feature, scan the “START/END” bar code above to place the unit in Programming Mode, then the “Set ACK NAK Timeout Value,” followed by the two digits (zero padded) from the Alphanumeric table in Appendix C, Alpha-Numeric Pad repre- senting your desired value. Exit programming mode by again scanning the “START/END” bar code above.

DEFAULT SETTING FOR THIS FEATURE: 001 (200 msec)
