Connect the speaker that is on the left side of the TV (as you

 

face the TV) to the left front channel output, and the right

output. Connect the surround speakers to the left and right

 

(side) surround speaker outputs of the receiver, not the rear

 

surround outputs (those are used in 7-channel systems only).
