FlashPath Floppy Adapter for MultiMediaCard DDFLSPTH2-AD
SYMPTOM CAUSE SOLUTION
The FlashPath isn’t being
recognized by the computer
Or
I’m getting “The disk in drive A
is not formatted” error.
The card was accessed before
it was recognized by the
system.
The FlashPath has gone into
sleep mode.
The MultiMidiaCard isn’t
inserted in the proper direction
or isn’t inserted fully.
The batteries are not loaded or
are loaded in the wrong
direction.
Eject the FlashPath, wait a
second and reinsert it.
Eject the FlashPath, wait a
second and reinsert it.
Recheck that the MultiMedia
Card is properly inserted.
Check that batteries are
installed correctly.
Error writing to the FlashPath,
or can’t format the MultiMedia
Card in the FlashPath.
The batteries are depleted.
The driver sofware may not
have been properly installed,
or system wasn’t restarted
after installation.
Install new batteries.
Reboot the computer. If you
get the same results, reinstall
the driver software.
Some anti-virus programs
interfere with FlashPath
functions.
On Macintosh systems,
FlashPath is read-only.
Disable anti-virus scans during
COPY, CREATE, RANAME, or
similar operations. In some
cases, you may need to
temporarily disable all anti-
virus software while using
FlashPath.
Use your MultiMidiaCard digital
device to format or delete files.
The FlashPath works with
MultiMediaCards, but does not
seem to recognize SD
(Secure Digital) cards.
The current FlashPath does
not have the nine-pin connec-
tor required to access Secure
Digital cards.
You will need an approved
Secure Digital device to
access SD cards. The
FlashPath-MMC is designed
for MultiMediaCards.
