Removing the Camera Module
Replacing the Camera Module

CAUTION: Only a certified service technician should perform repairs on your computer. Damage due to servicing that is not authorized by Dell™ is not covered by your warranty.
CAUTION: To avoid electrostatic discharge, ground yourself by using a wrist grounding strap or by periodically touching an unpainted metal surface (such as a connector on your computer).
Removing the Camera Module
1.Follow the instructions in Before You Begin.
2.Remove the system board (see Removing the System Board).
3.Follow the instructions from step 5 to step 11 in Removing the Display Bezel.
4.Turn the display bezel over.
5.Remove the mylar sleeve from the Bluetooth card.
6.Remove the two screws that secure the camera module to the display bezel.
7.Disconnect the camera cable from the connector on the camera module.
8.Lift the camera module off the display bezel.

Replacing the Camera Module
1.Follow the instructions in Before You Begin.
2.Align the screw holes on the camera module with the screw holes on the display bezel.
3.Replace the two screws that secure the camera module to the display bezel.
4.Replace the mylar sleeve on the Bluetooth card.
