Removing the Rear Stand
Replacing the Rear Stand

CAUTION: To avoid electrostatic discharge, ground yourself by using a wrist grounding strap or by periodically touching an unpainted metal surface (such as a connector on your computer).
Removing the Rear Stand
1.Follow the instructions in Before You Begin.
2.Remove the back cover (see Removing the Back Cover).
3.Follow the instructions from step 2 to step 5 in Removing the Front Stand.
4.Remove the rear stand cover (see Removing the Rear Stand Cover).
5.Lift the rear stand and remove the two screws at the bottom of the rear stand hinge.
6.Remove the three screws at the top of the rear stand hinge.
7.Slide the tab on the rear stand hinge out of the slot on the chassis and then lift the rear stand away from the computer.

Replacing the Rear Stand
1.Follow the instructions in Before You Begin.
2.Slide the tab on the rear stand hinge into the slot on the chassis.
3.Replace the three screws at the top of the rear stand hinge.
4.Lift the rear stand and replace the two screws at the bottom of the rear stand hinge.
5.Replace the rear stand cover (see Replacing the Rear Stand Cover).
6.Follow the instructions from step 4 to step 5 in Replacing the Front Stand.
