*A USB cable is necessary to connect the printer with your computer.

Turning the Printer On and Off

Turn on the printer before printing.

Note

If preparatory operations below are not complete, follow your setup sheet to complete them.

z The FINE Cartridges are set into place.

z The printer is connected to your computer (or a compatible device). z The printer driver is installed.

1 Press the Power button.

The Power lamp flashes green, and changes to steady, non-flashing light.

Note

If the Alarm lamp begins to flash orange, see “Alarm

Lamp Flashes Orange” on page 53.

2 Turn on your computer.
