About digital signal audio output

The unit can convert the format of digital audio signals recorded on media and output them. Make settings for a digital audio signal depending on the specifications of the connected device.

•Audio signal input may not be supported depending on the HDMI compatible monitor (projector, etc.) being used. When the unit is connected to this kind of device, audio signals are not output from the HDMI terminal.

z1 : The output format is automatically changed depending on the audio format or number of channels that the connected HDMI device supports.

z2 : If “BD audio mode” is set to “MIX Audio Output”, secondary audio and interactive audio are mixed and output (vpage 6, 24).

z3 : Contents of DTS-HD MA 5.1ch/192 kHz are output as 5.1ch/96 kHz.

z4 : If the connected HDMI device does not support Dolby Digital Plus, Dolby TrueHD, or DTS-HD, the signal is output as Dolby digital or DTS Digital Surround bit stream. If it does not support the Dolby Digital or DTS Digital Surround bit stream, it is output as multilinear PCM or 2-channel linear PCM.

z5 : If the connected HDMI device does not support DSD, the signal is output as Linear PCM.

If a DSD signal is output from the HDMI output terminal, the signal output from the analog audio output terminals is muted.

z6 : If the connected HDMI device does not support AAC , the signal is output as Linear PCM.

z7 : If the connected HDMI device does not support AAC, the signal is not output.

z8 : If the connected HDMI device does not support HE-AAC, the signal is not output.
