(6)Starting to Record
1Load the cartridge.
Set the presettings according to the purpose.

NOTE: Steps 1 and 2 can also be performed in the reverse order.
Set the recording pause mode. Press the REC button.

For a disc on which 3 tracks are already recorded.
The disc’s total number of tracks and playing time are displayed.
NOTE: If the REC button is pressed in the stop mode, the recording monitor mode is set. (Only the REC button lights.)
Start recording.
Press the PLAY/PAUSE button.

NOTE: If the DIGITAL IN indicator is flashing, the digital signal is unlocked. If this is the case, recording is not possible.
To change the track number during recording:
Press the REC button.

The track number is incremented and recording continues.
To pause recording:
Press the PLAY/PAUSE button.

Recording stops and the recording pause mode is set.
To resume recording, press the PLAY/PAUSE button again. The track number is incremented and recording resumes.
(7) Stopping Recording
Use one of the following methods to stop recording.
Lit once in standby

Recording stops, the UTOC is written and the standby mode is set.
The TOC indicator flashes while the UTOC is being
written.
