DEMANDAS DE WATAJE DE ARRANQUE

1.Algunos artefactos o herramientas indican en la placa de especificaciones del motor los voltajes de arranque y de operación y los amperajes. Use la siguiente formula para convertir voltaje y amperaje a wataje:

Voltios x amperios = wats. Ejemplo: 120 voltios x 10 amperios = 1200 wats.

2.Para determinar la demanda aproximada de wataje de arranque para la mayoría de los artefactos o herramientas con motores inductivos, multiplique el wataje que se calculó por 2 ó por 3 para asegurar que la capacidad el generador sea la adecuada. Si la placa de especificaciones no tuviese esta información, use los valores en la siguiente tabla como guía.

3.Recuerde que la demanda de wataje de arranque y de operación para los artefactos con demanda resistiva es la misma. (Ejemplo: 1 foco de luz de 100 wats requiere sólo 100 wats para encenderse). La mayoría de artefactos con demanda resistiva se indican en wats.
