AJUSTER LA TENSION ET TRAQUER DE LA CEINTURE DE COURROIE

La courroie de l'appareil expédié n'est pas tendue. Avant de faire fonctionner l'appareil, bien tendre la courroie et s'assurer que son centrage est adéquat.

Debrancher l'appareil de la source d'alimentation .

1.Desserrer les deux boutons de verrouillage (A), fig. 39, et enlever le couvercle supérieur (B).

2.Tourner la poignée de tension de courroie (C), fig. 40, en sens antihoraire pour augmenter la tension de la courroie. On détermine la bonne tension par sa position à plat contre le cylindre, et la tension doit être tout juste suffisante pour éliminer

toute courbe de la courroie.

3.Tourner la courroie manuellement, puis serrer ou desserrer le bouton de centrage (E), fig. 41, de manière à ce que la courroie fonctionne centrée sur les poulies.

4.Passer de la position « ON » à « OFF » par à-coups pour confirmer le bon centrage de la courroie. Si la courroie se déplace vers un des deux côtés, tourner le bouton de centrage (E), fig. 41, en sens horaire pour diriger la courroie vers la vis de réglage ou en sens antihoraire pour la diriger en direction opposée.

5.Il est possible d'effectuer le réglage final lorsque le moteur fonctionne. Le réglage est habituellement très léger. Une fois la courroie bien centrée, débrancher l'appareil et remettre le couvercle supérieur.

REMARQUE : après une longue période de temps, il peut être nécessaire d'effectuer des réglages de tension et de centrage de la bande abrasive. Si la courroie/bande ne conserve pas sa tension, serrer la vis pression (G) fig. 42. Si la courroie/bande ne demeure pas centrée, serrer la vis pression (F) fig. 42. N'effectuer que de petits réglages. Un trop grand serrage verrouillera le levier tenseur et/ou le bouton de centrage.
