thethirdslot,physicaldrives3,4,and5areinstallednext,inthatorder.Inthis
example,RAIDdrive1isthefaileddrivethatrequiresreplacement. Figure3‐4shows
howthedrivesarenumberedfromlefttoright(numbersdonotappearontheactual
unit).
