2-3 Color Adjustment

Outline

EIZO monitors have incorporated two color adjustment modes, standard
and custom. The “Standard” mode allows the adjustment of the color
spectrum. The “Custom” mode allows extensive controls over the colors
of the displayed image on the screen.
Please find the details of the color mode adjustment capabilities below:

* The color adjustment spectrum may vary between monitors.
** A color calibrator can be used for even higher-precision color
adjustment.
Each monitor is slightly different, if two monitors are set to the same
color temperature value (i.e. 6,500K), they may not necessarily look
the same.
Standard mode
Sets color temperature.
Temperature can be set from 4,000K to
10,000K, in 500K increments.
(Additionally, industry standard of
9,300K is set as default.)
Custom mode
Sets color temperature.
Allows for specific adjustments to Red,
Green and Blue (R/G/B). This consists of
the Cutoff and Gain functions.
For routine work and
printing.
For use when high
precision color
adjustment is necessary
(i.e. when there is a need
to obtain identical colors
on multiple monitors* or
match the display color
with printout color**.)
