Taking a Picture

Follow these steps to take a picture:

1Make sure you are at least 23.6 inches (60 cm) away from your subject.

2Turn the camera on and wait until the status light turns green.

NOTE

Remember that the camera shuts off automatically after 60 seconds. To turn the camera back on, close the lens cover and then open it or press the shutter button halfway down.

3Look straight through the viewfinder and center your subject within the cross-hairs.

4Hold the shutter button halfway down to lock the focus. The status light changes from green to orange.

NOTE

If you do not lock the focus, your pictures may be blurry.
