When the camera is connected to your computer, you

can take pictures with a live preview on your computer screen to help you frame each shot. You can also set the camera’s clock.

NOTE

If you have the optional AC adapter, you can save battery power by using it when you connect the camera to your computer. The AC adapter should be available where you bought your PhotoPC 550, or you can order it from EPSON. See page 1-5 for more information.

Taking Pictures From Your Computer

When you connect the camera and take pictures from your computer, you see a live preview of each shot before you capture it. You can control all the camera settings from your computer, and even set the shutter speed.

Follow these steps to take pictures from your computer:

1Connect the camera to your computer as described in Chapter 3.

2Position the camera facing the subject. Using a tripod will give you the most control when setting up your shots. See page 2-9 for instructions.
