2.2.2 Control Circuit
This section describes main function of the control circuit. The main circuit is m ounted on the C214 main
board.

2.2.2.1 Operating Principles of the Control Circuit

This printer’s control circuit includes a TM96C041AFCPU that runs at 17.20MHz, an E05B42 gate array, a
8M PROM, or 2M/4M Flash-ROM, 1M PS-RAM, 32M MROM, EEPROM, Reset IC and various drive
elements. The table below shows each function of the main components of the main board.
