1Setting Up the Projector

This chapter tells you how to unpack your projector and set it up for a presentation. The projector must be connected to a computer or a video source such as a DVD player, VCR, camcorder, digital camera, or other video device before it can project images.

note

You won’t need all these components; your configuration will determine which ones you need.

Save all packaging in case you need to ship the projector. Always use the original packaging (or the equivalent) when you need to send the projector to another location. If you are moving the projector by hand, use a carrying case (either an EPSON case or something similar, such as a laptop case). See page 50 for transportation instructions.
