Removing the ROM module
1. Follow steps 1 through 6 in “Before installing” on page 3-48.
2. Locate the button on the side of the S LO T housing for the
ROM module you want to remove. Push down the button
until the modu le comes up.
3. Pull the ROM module up and out of the slot.
4. Follow steps 1 through 4 in “After installing” on page 3-51 to
complete the procedure.
Optional interfaces
This section describes how to install the following optional
interface cards.
❏To add a direct connection to an E th ernet system, use an
optional Ethernet Card (C82362✽/C82363✽).
❏To add a serial or parallel interface to your printer, use one of
the following:
32KB Serial Interface Card C82307✽
32KB Parallel Interface Card C82310✽
❏To add a direct connection to an IBM mini or mainframe
system, use one of the following:
Coax Interface Card C82314✽
Twinax Interface Card C82315✽
