The problem may be with your software p rogram or interface
cable. Print out a status sheet. If blank pages continue to print, the
problem may be with the printer. Tur n off the printer and contact
your dealer.
Printed image is li ght or faint
Darken the Density setting using the printer driver or the
SelecType Config Menu.
Your paper may be moist or damp. Printing is sensitive to
moisture absorbed by the paper. T he higher the moisture content
in the paper, the lighter the printed outp ut. D o not store your
paper in a humid or damp environment.
Take out the imaging cartridge, sh a ke it from side to side to
distribute the toner, and then reinstal l it. If the problem persists,
replace the imaging cartridge as described in “Replacing the
Imaging Cartridge” on page 5-36.
The Toner Save mode may be on. Turn off th e Ton er Save mode
using the printer driver, OneTouch mode 2, or SelecType Config
Menu.
Image is too dark
The Density setting may be incorrect. Change the print density
using the printer driver or the SelecType Config Menu.
If the problem persists, replace the imaging cartridge as described
in “Replacing the Imaging Cartridge” on page 5-36.
