These settings are available only when the printer is in I239X

mode.

SelecType Settings

Read this section for a complete des cription of the settings

available on the SelecType menus. In the following tables, bold

type indicates standard factory sett ings.

Test Menu

Press Item to select a sheet or font sample, then press Enter to

print. There are no settings to select by pressing Value.

cCaution:

After you print these samples, user-defined data stored in the

printer, such as download fonts, may be erased depending on

which sample you printed.

Status Sheet, PS3 Status Sheet*

Prints a sheet describing the current printer features. Use this

option to check whether your printer is w orking correctly.

LJ4 Font Sample, ESCP2 Font Sample, FX Font Sample, I239X Font

Sample, PS3 Font Sam ple*

Prints a sample of the fonts available for your selected printer

emulation.

*Available only when Adobe PostScript 3 Kit is installed.

Network Status Sheet

Prints parameters in the internal net work settings.
