Installin g the Ribb on Ca rtrid ge

Before installing the ribbon cartridge, make sure that the power

cord is not plugged into an electrical outlet.

1. Lift the printer cover up and off.

2. Slide the print head to the ribbon installation position (the

indented portion of the paper tension unit.)

wWarning:

Never move the print head while the printer is turned on; this can

damage the printer. Also, the print head may becom e ho t du ring

use. Always let it cool before you touch it.
