Installin g the printe r utilit ies
To install the utilities, follow these steps:
1. Insert the floppy disk containing the printer utilities into your
computer’s disk drive.
2. From the DOS prompt, type A:SETUP (or B:SETUP); then press
Enter.
3. In the screen that appears, select your printer’s n ame in th e
Printer Model window and press Enter. C:\EPUTIL appears
as the default directory. You may change the directory or use
the default.
4. Press Enter. All the necessary files are copied to the EPUTIL
directory on drive C (or to the directory you specified in
step 3).
Using t he EP SON prin ter ut ilities
To use your EPSON utilities, follow these steps:
1. From the DOS prompt, cha nge the current director y to the C
drive.
2. To use the EPSON Remote! utility, type PRNSET and press
Enter. To use the EPSON Calibration utility, type CALIBRAT
and press Enter.
3. Follow the instructions on the screen to use either utility.
