Playing MP3/WMA Music and JPEG Photo Files on Disc

You can play MP3 or WMA music files and JPEG photo files on CDs or DVDs. See page 63 for information on the types of discs that are supported.

When you insert a disc that contains MP3, WMA, and/or JPEG files, an on-screen menu like this is displayed:

1. Press to select the group.

2. Press to move the pointer to the track (file name) list. Press to return the pointer to the group name list.

3. Press to select the track.

4. Press or to begin playing the selected track or file.

When a file is finished playing, the next file in the sequence will start automatically.

For JPEG files, press to begin playing a slideshow of all the

photos, or press to display individual photos.

To turn off the lamp when playing music files, press .

To turn the lamp back on, press again.

You can select program or random play following the instructions on page 36.

When you play MP3 or WMA files, scrolling through the list of songs will pause the music until you highlight the next file.

Note: If your disc includes both music and photo files, use the Picture Setup menu to specify the type of files you want to play. See page 44 for instructions.
