Changing Language Settings

You can use the Language Setup menu to change the default language for DVDs that allow you to make this selection.

1.When a DVD is not playing, press the button on the remote control. You see the LANGUAGE Setup menu:

2.Press to highlight the setting you want, then press to display a list of languages.

3.Press to select the language you want, then press to save it. For a list of language code definitions, see page 67.

4.To return to the previous menu level, press .

Adjusting the Resume and On-Screen Guide Settings

1.When a DVD is not playing, press the button on the remote control.

2.Press to highlight and display the OTHERS Setup menu.

3.Press to highlight RESUME or ON SCREEN GUIDE, then press to display the ON/OFF selection box.

4.Press to select the setting you want, then press to save it.

RESUME: This setting defines the way playback resumes after pausing. To have playback resume from the point where it was stopped, set to ON (the default). To have playback start from the beginning of the chapter, set to OFF.

ON SCREEN GUIDE: This setting, which is ON by default, briefly displays an indicator on the screen when you pause, resume, or use other playback controls. Select OFF if you don’t want these indicators to be displayed.

5.To return to the previous menu level, press .
