Adjusting General Audio Settings

MovieMate provides several settings for adjusting the audio quality and volume.

To adjust the treble, use the Treble buttons on the remote control.

To adjust the sound mode, press . Continue pressing the button

to select the JVC original sound system setting that you prefer:

NATURAL: Produces a broader, more natural sound.

SMOOTH: Produces a sound that is more pleasant to the ear.

OFF: Disables the JVC original sound system (default).

To adjust the bass, you can use the crossover knob on the back of the optional subwoofer.

To adjust detailed settings, use the Audio Setup menu as described below.

Adjusting DVD Movie Sound Levels

The default sound setting plays DVD movies at a higher volume than other discs. You can adjust this setting if necessary.

To adjust the DVD movie sound level overall, press . Continue pressing the button to select the level you prefer: DVD LEVEL 1, DVD LEVEL 2, or DVD LEVEL 3 (the highest volume and default setting).

To adjust detailed settings, use the Audio Setup menu as described below.

Adjusting Detailed Audio Settings

To adjust detailed audio settings in the Audio Setup menu, follow these steps:

and display the AUDIO Setup menu.

3. Press to highlight the setting you want, then press to display the options.
