It’s time to replace the lamp when:

Lamp light

The projected image gets darker or starts to deteriorate.

 

The lamp status light flashes orange.

 

The message Replace the lamp appears on the screen

 

 

when you start projecting.

 

Caution: If you continue to use the lamp after you see the replacement indicators, the lamp is more likely to break.

You can purchase a new lamp (part # V13H010L33) from an Epson authorized reseller. To find the nearest reseller, call 800-GO-EPSON (800-463-7766). Or you can purchase online at www.epsonstore.com (U.S. sales) or www.epson.ca (Canadian sales).

Be sure to read the “Important Safety Information” on page 68 before replacing the lamp.

Follow these steps to replace the lamp:

1.Turn off the main power switch and disconnect the power cord.

2.If the projector has been on, let it cool for at least an hour.

Warning: Let the lamp cool before replacing it. If the lamp breaks, handle the shards carefully to avoid injury.

3.Insert a small screwdriver into the lamp cover release slot, pushing it in gently to release the lamp cover.

4. Loosen the two silver screws holding the lamp in place. (You can’t remove these screws.)
