Troubleshooting
Before calling for assistance please check the chart below for problems you can fix. It could save you the cost of a service call.
Dishwasher problems

Dishwasher does | Is the door tightly closed and securely latched? | |

| If the motor stopped because of an overload, it will automatically | |
| reset itself within a few minutes. If it does not start, call for service. | |

Dishwasher | Is the overfill protector stuck in “up” position? Overfill protector | |

Water remains | Allow cycle to finish. A small amount of water remaining is normal. | |
in dishwasher | Check the drain air gap (if installed). If it is clogged, follow the | |

Detergent remains | Has the cycle completed? | |

| Do not use No Heat Dry option on the next load. | |

White residue | Is too much detergent being used? See the “Using the detergent | |
