5.3Setup Screens

Less commonly used functions are found on the following Setup Touchscreens. The Soft Keys navigate through them. The top-right Soft Key is Exit, which re- turns to the Touchscreen last used.

5.3.1Control Room

The Control Room Touchscreen selects the source of the control room volume knob, and provides talkback, dim, and mute functions. This is typically used to control Studio Monitor Express but can also control EuCon monitor sections if an application supports it.

Control Room Source: Shows the possible sources to the control room volume control. The TS arrow buttons scroll through sources if there are more than four. Touch to select the desired source, which is highlighted.

Talk: Engages the talk function, which is typically used to talk to talent in a dif- ferent room. The button lights up when talk is engaged, even if engaged from the application or Studio Monitor Express GUI.
