Removal and Replacement Procedures
This chapter provides removal and replacement procedures.
There are 62 screws, in 8 different sizes, that must be removed, replaced, or loosened when servicing the computer. Make special note of each screw size and location during removal and replacement.

✎Reference is made throughout this chapter to “Best Buy 1” and “Best Buy 2” computer models. These references apply to HP Pavilion dv1400 models that are sold in Best Buy retail stores that use plastic components with different colors.
