1	Speakers (2)	Produce stereo sound.

2	Wireless button light	On: An integrated wireless device is
	(select models only)	hardware enabled.

3	Power light	■ On: Computer is turned on.
		■ Blinking: Computer is in standby.
		■ Off: Computer is off.

4	IDE (Integrated Drive	■ On or blinking: The internal hard drive
	Electronics) drive light	or an optical drive is being accessed.

5	Battery light	■ Amber: The battery pack is charging.
		■ Green: The battery pack is fully charged.
		■ Off: The battery pack is discharging
		or not inserted.

6	Display release latch	Opens the computer.

7	Audio-in	Connects an optional monaural
	(microphone) jack	(single sound channel) microphone.

8	Audio-out	Connect optional headphones or powered
	(headphone) jack	stereo speakers. Also connect the audio
	(2 on HP Pavilion	function of an audio/video device such as
	dv1400 models)	a television or VCR.
