Water connection
1Ensure that the refrigerator is NOT plugged into a power supply.
2Locate a cold water supply/feed only suitable for a water connection. Tee & tap fittings are not supplied. If you can’t find the connection faucet, contact an authorized plumber in your state or town to fit your water connection.
3Create a service loop with copper tubing (minimum 24” (610 mm) diameter). Avoid kinks in the copper tubing when bending the service loop. Do not use plastic tubing from the water supply connection. (Refer to Step 3 diagram).
4 Remove plastic cap from the water valve inlet port. (Refer to Step 4 diagram).
5Place brass nut ( a ) and sleeve/olive ( b ) on copper tube end as illustrated. REMINDER: Do not use an old sleeve. The nut and sleeve are provided in the Use & Care packet (refer to Step 5 diagram).

6Bend to shape tubing slightly – do not kink – so that the tubing feeds straight into the inlet port. Place end of copper tubing into water valve inlet port.
7Slide brass nut ( a ) over sleeve/olive ( b ) and screw nut into inlet port. Place adjustable wrench on nut ( 1 ) attached to plastic waterline and maintain position. Using a second adjustable wrench, turn the lower nut ( 2 ) counter clockwise and fully tighten while holding the upper nut in place (refer to Step 7a/7b diagram).

8 Pull on tubing to confirm connection is secure. Connect tubing to frame with water tubing clamp ( c ) and turn on water supply. Check for leaks and correct if necessary prior to moving the refrigerator to its permanent location (refer to Step 8 diagram).

9Monitor water connection for 24 hours. Correct leaks if necessary.
