1.3.2 Win dows XP / Vista
1. Con nect Freecom MediaPlayer to PC via USB cable, and plug power cable of Freecom
MediaPlayer.
2. Click "Settings > Contr ol Panel > Administrative Tools > Compute r Management>
Disk Management" in Windows. If you can not find Administrative Tools at Control
Panel, click "switch to classic view" in the upper left corner on th e screen.
3. If th e "Disk Signature and Upgrade Disk Wiza rd" starts, click "Next" to p rogress for
finishing the wizard. If th is wizard does not star t, right click the marked le ft area of
unallocated drive and start the wizard.
4. Af ter finishing the "Disk Signat ure and Upgrade Disk Wizard", Right-cli ck the 'Unal-
located' Drive. And then, click "New Partition".
5. Cli ck "Next" at the New Partition Wiz ard.
